I'm Julie,

I'm the Custom colourist at Solo hair Design. I have been in the hairdressing industry from the tender age of 15 and my passion for the craft just continues to grow. I strive to always evolve in new techniques and education.

What is my role as a custom colourist?

Since joining the Solo team almost two years ago. I have been given the opportunity to explore the world of colour and discover my true passion in an environment that encourages me to indulge my inner artist.

To me your hair is a blank canvas with endless possibility. Since mid 2016 the world of color changed immensley where beautiful pastels, shimmering metallics took hold of the hair and fashion industry and we were introduced to the hashtags #mermaidians #silverhairdontcare and #unicornhair and i was hooked. Having always had the passion for the bold, bright and blonde and then receiving the opportunity to work in a creative environment without limits is where i optained my title of Custom Colourist. Because life is too short to have boring hair.
